Our Mission At The Camera Camp

The Camera Camp is a week long program for kids to learn and have fun in an authentic studio surrounded by experienced & friendly instructors and teachers. Our camp develops and harnesses the creative minds of kids teaching lifelong skills to thrive in taking great photos and making videos. Located at Manhattan Beach Studios, The Camera Camp offers unlimited access to top tools of the trade whether it be in photography, live streaming, live broadcasting, podcasting or movie making.

Best Summer Camp For Creative Kids

Let’s face it, it can be hard to get the kids off the couch and immersed into something that will change the way they look at the world. The Camera Camp is the perfect fit for kids who are interested in becoming little directors, photographers, producers or even actors. It’s important to us that our kids are getting 110% of an experience while in our sound stage and that they are having fun & working with others! We offer week-long programs Monday-Friday with the option for kids to extend & ‘graduate’ to next level programs if they’d like to expand their learning in video production & photography. We encourage kids to keep growing, learning and having fun here!

The Camera Camp focuses on the power of storytelling through photography & video.

The curriculum includes but is not limited to:
-Learning photography skills & video production
-Becoming a great storyteller
-Expressing creativity through photo & video
-Character & team building activities
– Having a blast in our studio! 🙂

Our photography program:
Kids will learn how to prepare and capture AWESOME photos both in our studio and outside. Over the course of the week, they’ll create a kick butt portfolio!

Our video program:
Kids will also have the opportunity to learn the phases of production and get behind the camera. They’ll have a blast working together to build their own talk shows, create their own podcasts or film a creative project of their very own!
